P7 News – May 2026
|
|
COMING SOON! You've told us what's missing from current armor platforms, and we've been taking notes.
We’ve always believed the best products come from the people using them in the field. And we’ve been listening. After countless conversations, feedback, and real-world input from operators, we’re working on something new. A new PROJECT 7 armor platform is coming—and it’s designed to bridge a gap we’ve heard about time and time again. We’re keeping the details close for now, but we can say this: it introduces a capability none of our current platforms offer… and it’s one many of you have been asking for. We’re excited about where this is headed, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next. Stay tuned.

MAY FEATURED PRODUCT!
B1X-V Ballistic Battle Belt: Velcro-locked stability with 4 inches of ballistic coverage
|
|
Standard battle belts can shift during dynamic movements, creating gaps in protection and compromising gear access when you need it most. Operators often face the choice between secure attachment and comfortable carry, especially during extended operations involving running, climbing, or vehicle work.
The B1X-V uses hook Velcro lining to lock onto a loop-lined under belt, eliminating belt migration while adding 4 inches of Level IIIA protection around your midsection. This creates a stable platform that moves with you rather than against you.
|
Velcro Hook Liner System – Locks to loop-lined under belt for zero-shift hold during high-movement operations
Additional Ballistic Protection – Bridge the gap under your platform with additional soft armor ballistic coverage
Cobra Buckle Closure – Reliable one-handed operation under stress with proven hardware
Drop-Leg Compatible – Works with thigh rigs on either leg without interference
External Webless MOLLE – Clean attachment points for essential gear without snagging or bulk
|
Why it matters: When your belt stays put, your gear stays accessible and your protection stays consistent through the entire mission cycle.
Available in 6 sizes; requires P7 duty belt or riggers belt. Available in Velcro or neoprene non-slip version.

Below Vest Accessories: Maximizing storage, space, and protection
|
Vest real estate fills up fast, and belt-mounted gear can catch on doorways or create snag hazards during dynamic entries. Operators need accessible storage that doesn't interfere with weapon transitions or compromise low-profile movement.
PROJECT 7's below vest accessories utilize the often-overlooked space beneath your carrier. Our newest addition, the BVA-AU Armored Utility Pouch, joins four other specialized pouches designed to keep critical gear accessible while maintaining a streamlined silhouette.
|
Five Specialized Configurations – Purpose-built options including explosive breaching, medical, gas mask, hand warmer, and the new armored utility pouch
Below-Carrier Mounting – Keeps gear accessible without adding bulk to sides or back panels that can snag in tight spaces
Integrated Protection – Select models include ballistic protection for high-risk items while maintaining quick access
|
Why it matters: Below vest mounting may provide the storage capacity you need without the mobility penalties of traditional belt or side-panel configurations.
Five models available: BVA-AU ($125+insert), Explosive Breaching ($225+insert), Medic Roll ($150), Gas Mask Utility ($125), Hand Warmer ($125).

Details Matter: No-Guess Sizing Protocol
Why P7 skips the measuring tape and puts actual vests on your body instead.
|
Most companies give you a chest measurement and cross their fingers. P7 puts a sizing vest on you and watches you move. The difference matters because body armor fit involves three dimensions that tape measures can't capture: how the vest sits on your shoulders, how it moves across your torso during weapon transitions, and how it distributes weight during extended operations.
Our sizing protocol uses actual vest shells in multiple size combinations. You wear the vest, then run through operational movements: drawing from holster, shouldering a rifle, taking a knee, moving through doorways. If the shoulder straps bind during weapon transitions, we adjust. If the side panels gap when you rotate, we change sizes. If the weight distribution feels wrong after 10 minutes of movement, we keep fitting until it's right.
This process typically takes 15-20 minutes versus the 30 seconds most companies spend checking measurements. The result: operators get vests that move with their specific body mechanics, not against them. Generic sizing might get you close; movement-based fitting gets you exact.

Small detail. Big difference when your gear works with you instead of fighting you through a 12-hour shift.
