P7 News – February 2026

Welcome to the official PROJECT 7 monthly update!

We're launching P7 News to deliver the information that matters most to our customers. In our newsletter, you'll find new product releases, featured equipment, brand updates, and upcoming events—along with insight into what we’re building and why. If it’s here, it’s because we believe it’s worth your time.

FEATURED PRODUCT

ILB-GR Grenadier Pack: Organized munitions access when seconds define outcomes.

During civil unrest, operators need immediate access to various less lethal projectile and grenades without fumbling through generic pouches or compromising mission readiness. Disorganized munitions storage can add critical seconds to response times when crowd dynamics shift rapidly.

The ILB-GR provides dedicated, foam-secured compartments for 6 canister grenades plus 15 rounds of 40mm projectiles in separate external pockets. This compartmentalized design eliminates search time and maintains munitions integrity during dynamic operations.

Isolated Internal Compartment – Custom foam block secures 6 canister grenades separately from other munitions, preventing damage and enabling tactical retrieval

Dual External Pockets – Top pocket holds 5 rounds, bottom holds 10 rounds of 40mm projectiles with elastic retention for quick access during engagement transitions

Webless MOLLE Integration – External attachment points allow additional gear mounting without compromising the pack's primary munitions storage function

Why it matters: When crowd control situations escalate, organized munitions access can mean the difference between effective deescalation and prolonged engagement.

Three-compartment design, 500D Cordura construction, available in Black/Multicam/OD, $495

P7K9 Tactical K9 Vest: Scalable protection that adapts to mission threat levels

K9 officers face varying threat environments, from routine searches to high-risk entries where suspects may target dogs with edged weapons or firearms. Most K9 armor systems offer fixed protection levels that either under-protect in dangerous situations or over-encumber dogs during routine work. Fatal injuries typically occur in the neck and chest areas where traditional vests provide minimal coverage.

The P7K9 uses a removable ballistic yoke system that scales protection based on mission requirements. Handlers can quickly add neck and chest coverage for high-threat operations or remove it for routine patrol work. The biomechanical design maintains full mobility while protecting the K9's most vital areas.

Scalable Yoke System – Removable ballistic yoke protects upper chest and neck in high-threat scenarios, detaches quickly for routine patrol work

Biomechanical Design – Pivoting fasteners and contoured profile maintain full range of motion for searches, apprehensions, and bite work

Rapid Deployment – Don, scale, or remove in under 30 seconds using Fastex or COBRA buckles without stepping through holes

Why it matters: When K9s enter unknown risk environments, handlers need armor that can adapt quickly without compromising the dog's operational effectiveness.

Available in Medium (50-65 lbs), Large (65-85 lbs), and X-Large (85-100 lbs); Fastex or COBRA buckle options; agency sales only through AARDVARK.

Details Matter: MAGNETIC FIDLOCK INTEGRATION

Why PROJECT 7 chose magnetic attachment over traditional buckles for their ILB system.

PROJECT 7's Integrated Load Bearing (ILB) system uses Fidlock magnetic buckles that snap together with onehanded operation through magnetic alignment. The magnets guide the connection even when you can't see the attachment point. This system allows ILB pack attachment in under three seconds without disturbing your primary weapon, radio cables, or other critical gear mounted on your kit. The magnetic force provides a secure hold that won't accidentally release, yet disengages immediately when pulled at the correct angle. Traditional shoulder strap systems create movement between the pack and armor, shifting your center of gravity during movement. The ILB system locks the pack directly to your armor platform, eliminating bounce and maintaining your natural movement patterns.

Simple physics. Big difference when every second counts and both hands stay on your weapon.
